Lovely pics and wins!! What area(s) did you go to that is safe for off-leash running? Even with a good recall I always worry but would love to find options other than the dog parks! Hope to see your dogs at the Lompoc show and good luck! :)
I never go to dog parks-too crowded and owners who are socializing rather than paying attention to their dogs.Too many injuries occur in dog parks.
Where do you live? I live in the East Bay of San Francisco and we have East Bay Regional parks. The parks are huge-1000+ acres and dogs are allowed off lead. That and BLM land are generally where I run my dogs.
I agree, people do not always manage their dogs properly in dog parks and it is risky. I am in the Los Angeles/Northridge area and it can be limited to find a good park that is fully fenced.
